We act as the data controller for the personal data collected through this website, our call‑centre, and any related services.

Data We Collect About You

• Eligibility data – household income, benefits status, property type, EPC rating, utility bills, photos or survey notes of the home

We do not intentionally collect data on children under 16 unless essential for grant eligibility and only with parental consent.

• To send progress updates and provide customer support – legitimate interest or performance of a contract
• To submit grant paperwork to funders and regulators (e.g. Ofgem) – legal obligation
• To prevent fraud and money‑laundering – legal obligation
• To analyse and improve our website and services – legitimate interest
• To send you relevant offers and energy‑saving tips – consent (you may withdraw at any time)

Who We Disclose Data To

• Accredited surveyors and TrustMark‑approved installers who carry out your survey and installation
• Funding bodies and regulators such as Ofgem and participating energy suppliers
• Service providers for cloud hosting, IT support, payment processing, analytics, and communications
• Professional advisers and auditors (lawyers, accountants, compliance consultants)
• Law‑enforcement or regulatory authorities where required

All third parties must protect your data, use it only for specified purposes, and follow our instructions.

How Long We Hold Data

• Completed grant projects – six years after installation (to cover warranty and regulatory audits)
• Withdrawn or unsuccessful enquiries – two years from last contact
• Website technical logs – twelve months
• Marketing opt‑in or opt‑out records – the duration of the marketing relationship plus six years

After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
